Our Anticipated Grant Activities:
BearFruit plans to utilize the grant funds to inform more farmers in urban Jefferson County, KY about the farm bill and potential impacts that changes to the farm bill could have on the viability of locally, historically underserved farmers in Kentucky. Participants will have a chance to share their personal concerns and solutions to the implications the farm bill changes may produce and be compensated for their testimonials.
