Magdaly García Medina su finca Bosque Pachamama localizada en Mayagüez. Produce Frutas, Farináceos, Ornamentales, Especias, Aromáticas. Agricultora desde el 2005, su parte preferida de trabajar en la agricultura son las cosechas y su preparación. Importante mencionar que en su finca se rescantan y propagan semillas criollas también se investigan cultivos novedosos con alta resistencia a las sequías y/o exceso de lluvia. El subsidio se va a utilizar para restuarar el camino principal a la finca.
Magdaly García Medina farms her Pachamama Forest farm in Mayagüez. She produces fruits, flours, ornamental plants, spices, and herbs. A farmer since 2005, her favorite part of farming is harvesting and preparing the crops. She’s also proud to mention that her farm rescues and propagates native seeds and researches innovative crops with high resistance to drought and/or excessive rainfall. The grant will be used to restore the farm’s main road.
