Rex Coble is the founder of Cobles Landing Health and Wellness, a 25-acre farm in Anson County, North Carolina. Established in 2023, the farm produces honey, tomatoes, cucumbers, and basil, with help from family, friends, and employees. Rex became interested in farming during the COVID-19 pandemic. This curiosity inspired a desire to grow his own food and live more self-sufficiently.
Cobles Landing Health and Wellness brings fresh produce and honey to the community through farmers markets, mobile delivery, and wholesale to local stores. Rex’s favorite part of farming is planting, feeling the soil in his hands and seeing new growth take root.
This stipend will be used to make improvements to fencing, soil, and equipment. The farm will improve at protecting its goats and crops, maintaining the garden, and expanding production. Though still a new operation, Cobles Landing is eager to grow, building a future rooted in sustainability, community connection, and a commitment to nourishing both people and the land.
