Jasmine Lee is the owner of Locs and Heritage Farm, LLC, a quarter-acre certified organic farm in Conyers, Georgia. Founded in 2024, the farm produces vegetables, fruit, and culinary herbs, grown with a focus on quality, sustainability, and community care. Jasmine farms alongside her fiancé, parents, and volunteers, many of whom participate in the volunteer program she created to give others hands-on farming experience they can apply in their own gardens.
Locs and Heritage Farm operates on a co-farm space through the Global Growers Network, sharing land with six other farm businesses. This stipend will be used to fund current projects including building a 15-foot geodesic dome greenhouse, adding a solar dehydrator, expanding seed starting capacity, and making infrastructure upgrades to improve efficiency and market readiness. The new greenhouse will also be available for rent to fellow co-farmers and serve as an educational feature for visitors.
A Black woman-owned business in the metro Atlanta area, Locs and Heritage Farm may be small, but Jasmine is proud to say it is mighty in the quality of its organic produce.
