Bruce Saldana

Bruce Saldana is the owner of Saldana Farms, a 27-acre family farm in East Tennessee established in 2015. Farming alongside his parents, Bruce grows sweet corn, potatoes, tomatoes, and green beans, which are sold directly through the farm’s on-site market. For him, farming is both a livelihood and a passion, rooted in the joy of working with the land, watching crops grow to their fullest potential, and connecting with customers who value fresh, locally grown produce.

With support from the 2025 RAFI Farmer Infrastructure Grant, Saldana Farms will construct a new packing shed, a vital addition that will expand the farm’s capacity, improve efficiency, and provide safe storage for harvested crops. This investment will not only strengthen day-to-day operations but also position the farm for continued growth and long-term sustainability.

Bruce sees farming as a balance of challenges and rewards. Each year brings obstacles to overcome, but every spring offers a fresh start and renewed energy for the work ahead. At Saldana Farms, that resilience is paired with a deep commitment to quality and community care.
