About Us:
Our mission is to assist black and brown growers to establish direct connections with chef’s restaurateurs, grocers and families. We are passionate about making the farm to table experience more possible, and more practical for black and brown growers, and restaurant owners across the country.
Our Anticipated Grant Activities:
Organize call campaigns and letter-writing; Host two town hall meetings; Create and market a documentary featuring the stories of five Black and Brown farmers, highlighting the impact of Farm Bill policies; Schedule quarterly online meet-ups with farmers to discuss progress; Establish a committee of six farmers to work with Congress, local NRCS, and USDA offices.
