Announcing the 2023 School for Food Justice, Faith, and Storytelling

Come to the Table is excited to announce that registration is now open for The School for Food Justice, Faith, and Storytelling, set to begin in January of 2023. The fellowship brings together faith leaders to investigate root causes of hunger, uncover and challenge the dominant narratives around hunger, and equip leaders to transform these conversations in their community.

Farm and Faith Partnership Continues to Thrive in Wake County

In the Spring of 2021, Come to the Table helped launch its first ever Farm and Faith Partnership Project in Wake County, North Carolina. The pilot project, a community-supported agriculture (CSA) partnership, was organized with three local farmers of color and eight Wake County churches, and included 80 shares of produce, netting approximately $20,000 in sales for the trio of farmers.

Advancing Congregation-Supported Agriculture

In light of our mission, we are excited to offer up to six small grants to rural United Methodist Churches to support mutually beneficial partnerships with farmers of color from RAFI-USA's Farmers of Color Network.
