Applications are Open for the U.S. Caribbean Infrastructure Grants

RAFI-USA is accepting applications for the 2023 U.S. Caribbean Infrastructure Grant which provides support to farmers in the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. The grants are designated for projects that will increase farm viability, support community food sovereignty efforts, preserve traditional and cultural farming practices, as well as assist local food economies.

Applications open for Beginning Farmers Stipend

RAFI-USA is accepting applications for the 2023 Beginning Farmers Stipend. Stipends support the success of beginning farmers by helping to reduce financial barriers and may be used to cover farming start-up and/or production costs. Individual applicants may request between $3,000 - $5,000 in funding.

New Round of Farmers of Color Network Grants

RAFI-USA is now accepting applications for the 2023 Farmers of Color Network Infrastructure Grant cycle! Applicants may request up to $10,000 in assistance for farm infrastructure projects that increase farm viability and do one or more of the following: support community food sovereignty efforts, preserve traditional and cultural farming practices, or support farmers’ local food economies.
