Trabajan para desarollar el cultivo en la zona montañosa central de Puerto Rico. Transforman la fruta del panapen en harina y desarollan productos innovadores. Buscan ofrecer nutrición con sabor, garantizando buenas prácticas agrícolas y de manufactura para obtener un producto de calidad, duradero y muy versátil en la cocina. Amasar es un proyecto agroforestal, agroecológico y agroturístico de 19.2 acres. Su gran pasión por la agricultura, la educación y la naturaleza. El fondo del subsidio se va a utilizar para un sistema de silvopastoreo de gallinas ponedoras y un gallinero.
Amasar LLC. is an eco-friendly and sustainable agribusiness located in the highlands of Puerto Rico, Jayuya. We promote the consumption of the superfruit breadfruit, for its great nutritional benefits. We work to develop formal breadfruit farms especially in the central mountainous area of Puerto Rico. We grow and buy breadfruit from more than 50 small farmers and schools throughout Puerto Rico. We turn breadfruit into flour and develop innovative products. In our sustainable project we seek to offer nutrition with flavor, guaranteeing good agricultural and manufacturing practices to obtain a quality, long-lasting and very versatile product in the kitchen. Our products are already found in all supermarkets in Puerto Rico. Today, we work hard to promote agriculture in Amasar, a 19.2 acres agroforestry, agroecological and agrotourism project have a great passion for agriculture, education and nature. The grant fund will be used for silvopasture with laying hens and a chicken coop.
