Sade Jordan

Sade Jordan is the owner of Capernaum Creek Farms, a 10-acre family farm in Robbins, Tennessee, where she, her spouse, and their two teenage children raise pastured poultry and produce fresh, pastured eggs. Farming since 2018 and establishing Capernaum Creek Farms in 2020, Sade has built her farm around the belief that good food should never be a luxury. Her products are sold through farmers markets, CSA shares, and custom grow-outs, with a growing customer base across the region.

With support from the 2025 RAFI Farmer Infrastructure Grant, Sade will complete and fully wire a cooling storage room to house freezers and refrigerators, ensuring compliance with her USDA retail meat permit. The grant will also support the addition of a movable chicken tractor and electric netting, modestly scaling up production to meet increasing demand. These improvements will bring greater efficiency and functionality to her egg washing, packing, and storage operations while protecting the health of the land.

For Sade, farming is both intimate and sacred: the honor of nurturing food that becomes the centerpiece of a meal shared among families and communities.
